Accessibility Services & Facilities
Brimbank Libraries strives to support all members of the community and has a range of facilities and aides available for customers.
Social Stories
Social stories are used to describe and explain social situations or concepts in a supportive, clear and easily understood way.
Brimbank Libraries has developed a social story for each of our 5 Libraries at Deer Park, Keilor, St Albans, Sunshine and Sydenham.
Social stories are primarily aimed at children and provide pictures and words to show what the library looks like, the different spaces in the library, some of the things that happen in the library and what the child can do when in the library.
