The BIG Summer Read is a program aimed to keep you reading all summer long. Register online via Beanstack, at your closest branch, or at one of our launch events to participate.
Complete the challenges to go into the draw to win one of two tablets, as well as a range of other prizes along the way!
The BIG Summer Read officially opens 1 December 2021, but registrations are now open, so you can be all set to go!
If you've previously used Beanstack, you will need to register a new account. Your Brimbank Libraries Beanstack account cannot be used to participate in the BIG Summer Read.

Come and test your Quokka knowledge with our Quokka Quiz, inspired by the book ‘Not Cute’ by Philip Bunting.
Answer the questions and spot the Quokkas to go into the draw to win a $30 book voucher!
Competition will be open from 1st December 2021 to 31st January 2022.
Get creative these holidays and design a bookmark for Brimbank Libraries. Five winning designs will be printed into a Library bookmark that will be available for free from your local Brimbank library!

Join us for some fun, Beci Orpin inspired craft as we wrap up the BIG Summer Read and announce the winners of the competition!
Finale Parties will be running all week across our five Brimbank Libraries during our After School Activity Zone, join in the fun at any of these sessions:

- Sunshine: Thursday 17th February: 4-5pm
- St Albans: Wednesday 16th February 3:45-4:45pm
- Sydenham: Tuesday 15th February : 4-5pm
- Keilor: Thursday 17th February: 4-5pm
