Libraries After Dark - Discover Something New at Your Community Lounge


Brimbank Libraries are open select evenings til 8pm, offering an array of events, programs and workshops to explore and inspire.

Make new friends, spend time learning new skills, or simply relax and unwind in the comfortable, welcoming space that is Your Community Lounge. 

While you are there, access all the no charge and low-cost library services and facilities that are available seven days a week.
 

Libraries After Dark is a statewide initiative funded by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation, offering a welcome alternative to the lure of pokies venues in high-risk communities.  Check out the great programs on offer across the state.

Mindful Clay Hand Building Workshops

Thu 08-12-2022 6:00 pm -7:30 pm

Find a sense of wellbeing and fun through the creative art of building something from clay.  Connect with your creativity through this immersive sensory clay workshop. In these playful and relaxing workshops, Allow your senses to guide you while you create one-of-a-kind works of art. 

The workshops will be facilitated by Iman Abdulhai; a Naarm- based intuitive artist of Eritrean origin. Her work is inspired by a deep love and appreciation for pre-colonial African art, craft and societies. Iman runs weekly clay hand-building workshops that encourage play, creativity, healing and connection.

 

Places limited, bookings essential.  Light refreshments included.
