From storytimes to tech talks, craft circles to coding clubs, Brimbank Libraries hosts more than 1000 regular program sessions each year!

For Families with Children aged 0-5

Baby Bounce
Have fun sharing songs and rhymes with your baby in this pre-literacy program for parents with babies aged 0-18 months. Sessions run for 30 minutes.

Bilingual Storytime 
Join in as we share stories, songs and rhymes in Vietnamese and English. This session is aimed at families with children aged 0-5.
Family Storytime
Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes in this all-ages family session.
Learn English Through Storytime
A storytime for parents and children aged 0-5 who would like to practise their English with stories, songs and rhymes. Sessions run for 30 minutes.
Preschool Storytime
Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes that help build literacy skills for children aged 3-5. Sessions run for 30 minutes.
Saturday Storytime
Start the weekend with stories, songs and rhymes in this an all-ages storytime. Sessions run for 30 minutes.
Sensory Storytime
Open to all children and caregivers. This storytime is especially welcoming for children on the Autism Spectrum and families who are looking for a smaller, adaptive storytime.
Toddler Storytime
Stimulate language development through story, song and rhyme in a fun environment with these storytime sessions for children aged 18 months - 3 years. Sessions run for 30 minutes.

For Families with Children aged 6-12

After School Activity Zone
Have fun with others in the library after school with games, craft, STEAM and other activities for children aged 5 - 13.
Brimbank Bookworms
Calling all book worms! Chat about your favourite books and authors, learn about new and exciting books and have fun in this monthly book club! For ages 6-12.
Code Club
Learn to code and develop the skills to create games and animations. For ages 8+. Bookings essential.
Family Film Fun
Enjoy a family film at the library each month. Bookings essential and can be made online or by calling your closest branch. All films are rated G or PG.

For Young People and Adults

Book Group 
Meet other book lovers and discuss the latest bestsellers or old favourites in this open-age book group. New members always welcome.
Connect & Chat
Have a chat, meet new people, make friends and enjoy some laughs at these weekly social sessions.
Create & Chat
Knit, stitch, create. Bring your craft project along and join in for an hour of creativity and chat.

Practise Your English
Weekly sessions for adults who want to practise their English speaking and listening skills in a relaxed environment.

Résumé Help
Get basic advice or helpful tips on how to present your résumé in a one-on-one session with library staff. Please call your closest branch to book your session and bring your current résumé with you.
Seniors' Tech Talk
For seniors interested in learning more about computers and mobile technology in a friendly and informal setting. Basic computer knowledge required.
