Spook-tacular Fun at Brimbank Libraries

Brimbank Libraries Halloween Challenge Terms and Conditions:

1. This competition is being run by Brimbank Libraries (301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine 3020).

2. Entrants aged 18 and over must be a member of Brimbank Libraries to be eligible to enter. Entrants aged under 18 must either be a member themselves, or have a parent or guardian who is a member. You may enter more than once per month.

3. Brimbank Libraries are able to disqualify any entry at its absolute discretion at any time without liability.

4. To be eligible for the competition, you must submit a photograph of yourself/family members/pets wearing a costume reading your favourite book. To enter, send the image(s) and details to Brimbank Libraries via their Facebook, Instagram or email accounts. Incomplete, indecipherable, or inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid. 5. There will be a competition draw to determine the winning entry after the competition closes.

6. This competition closes on 10th November, 11:59PM.

7. One winning entry will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place by15th November. Winners will be notified by telephone or email, and announced on the Brimbank Libraries social media channels. Only winners will be notified.

8. The prize is a board game. The prize will be distributed by C&C or LTYD once confirmation from the winning entrant has been received by Brimbank Libraries. If confirmation is not received by Brimbank Libraries within 7 days of the competition draw, the winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner may be selected.

9. Brimbank City Council staff and their immediate families (ie spouse, de facto spouses, and children / step children) are able to participate in the program but are ineligible to enter the competition draw.

10. Brimbank Libraries accepts no liability arising from any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) arising in any way from the competition.

11. Brimbank Libraries collects personal information about entrants in the course of running this competition and does so in accordance with its privacy policy at https://www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/privacy-policy. Eligible images will be posted on the Brimbank Libraries Facebook Page, Instagram account, and may also be used as part of Brimbank City Council media. By submitting an entry you/your legal guardian consent to Brimbank City Council using the first name(s) and submitted images for the purposes of promotion of Council activities and related purposes, which include but are not limited to distribution to third parties who may use the image for commercial purposes or where release of the image is required by law. You may withdraw your consent for future use by contacting the Council’s Privacy Officer or the Council department involved on 9249 4000.
