Below The Surface – When Black Meets White with Lydia Tesema and Panel_BWRF2021

The second magazine from ‘Below the Surface’, When Black Meets White explored identity, race-relations and lived experiences at the height of the Black Lives Matter movements.
It prompted 12 African-heritage Australians from the Victorian community to unpack what happens when they exist and function in predominantly white spaces.
Join us for a thought provoking panel discussion facilitated by Lydia Tesema with young Melbourne writers and creatives, Ivy Mutuku, Noah DaCosta, Winniy Manyang and Abdul Yusuf.

Ivy is a Kenyan born, Melbourne photographer and filmmaker with a fire for visual storytelling.
