Session 2: Where to find a job and how to make a positive impression at an interview

• Discuss the importance of networking and finding out where to find the jobs within the local community.
• Discuss and work through examples of interview expectations and how to best prepare. What makes for a positive interview experience?
• Provide tips about how planning and preparing helps build confidence in an interview.
• Address the expectations around Key Selection Criteria and the STAR Technique when preparing to answer interview questions.

The workshop will be practical and engaging and delivered by Victoria University Skills and Job Centre staff.
