Fight Food Waste Workshops: Scraptastic cooking

Want to know how to preserve your summer harvest? Or how to reduce food waste and save on shopping bills? In this four week workshop series, Anna the Urban Nanna will share traditional skills for the modern-day world.
From the garden to the kitchen, find out about living a more sustainable lifestyle and adopting zero-waste principles in everyday life. Join ‘Nanna’ Anna to learn about preserving food with fermentation and dehydration, 'scraptastic' cooking, and growing your own food using sustainable no-dig principles.
Workshop 2: Fight food waste: Scraptastic cooking (Demo presentation)
Learn how to make the absolute most of your weekly shop and to not only reduce your food waste output, but reduce your shopping bill too. This workshop includes a hands-on demonstration of scraptastic' cooking, a display of various scraptastic creations, examples of useful books and resources to help you get the most out of your scraps, and a followup document with pointers, links to recipes and a resource list.
