Sunshine & District Historical Society
The Society was founded in 1972, with the purpose of encouraging the study and recording of the history of Sunshine and its district. Much work has already been achieved in preserving and cataloguing items of history including letters, photos, plaques, trophies, newspapers, advertising signs and logos etc.
Bound copies of the Sunshine Advocate are available (1927-1994) for viewing by appointment.
Do you have any questions or would you like to see historical documents? Members of the Society are available at Sunshine Library every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm-4pm.
