The new Keilor Library is now open!
Keilor Library has moved to the new premises at the former Keilor Municipal Offices.

The Keilor library is in the new Keilor Community Hub, which includes a Customer Service Centre, community rooms for Neighbourhood House programming and an art space.

The new Keilor Library provides:
  • Approximately 500m2 of public floor space
  • Customer self-service kiosks for the loan and return of library items, computer bookings and video game bookings, as provided at other Brimbank libraries
  • A collection of approximately 12,000 library items for loan including books, magazines and DVDs
  • A new colour coded arrangement of non-fiction items will be introduced to enable customers to browse collections by subject area
  • Two children's touchscreen PCs with dedicated educational content
  • A dedicated IT training room with six PCs
  • Video games console for individual and group use
  • Increased seating for reading, study, socialising and using WiFi
  • A dedicated library programs room
  • Regular library programs will include Baby Bounce, Pre-School Storytime, After School Activity Zone, Lego Club and the Keilor Book Group
