Throughout 2012 we will be “Celebrating Reading” as part of the National Year of Reading.  Brimbank Libraries celebrated the launch of the National Year of Reading on 14 February (Library Lovers Day!).

From February to October 2012 Brimbank Libraries will host a range of programs, events and competitions (PDF, 398KB) to celebrate reading in all its forms.

Our goal is to register 10,000 new library members in 2012.  If you're not already a library member you can join online or at any Brimbank Library. 

Our Story

Throughout February Brimbank Libraries members were invited to tell us their all-time favourite book for the chance to win a gift voucher.  One thing is clear - Brimbank is a diverse community of readers, with a huge variety of books nominated!  Check out Brimbank's Favourite Books on our Facebook page.
